Os Açores são a região de Portugal com a pior taxa de emprego entre as mulheres (apenas 47%). Esta é uma das conclusões do relatório de 2007 sobre “As 268 regiões da UE a 27 em factos e números”, elaborado pelo Eurostat.
Será porque as mulheres açorianas não querem trabalhar? Serão mais preguiçosas que as restantes europeias? Ou, será que ainda há muitos homens que não querem as suas mulheres a trabalhar? Ou, será que muitos empregadores consideram que as mulheres dão piores trabalhadores que os homens?...
Porque será?...
